Trend assessment in climate variable by Mann Kendall test of Bastar district of Chhattisgarh

Climate change is a natural phenomenon but in present decades its variability of mainly due to anthropogenic activities alarming. Agriculture Chhattisgarh state dependant on monsoon rain and distribution. Considering this fact, the study has been tried analyze most important climatic variables, viz., precipitation temeperature for analyzing their trend area. The trends maximum atmospheric temperature, rainfall rainy days are analysed statistically meteorological data Jagdalpur station Bastar district, over last three stretching between years 1980 2014. long term by correlation linear analysis. annual MMAX temperature decreased at rate -0.465 °C per year during period decreasing monsoonal season (June September) also found confirmed Mann-Kendall test.
